A 61-year-old man who is out of a job in the ancient capital of Nara in western Japan found one million yen (10,000 dollars) money in his mailbox with a slip of paper with the note, "Please make use of this in your everyday life," printed with a black ballpoint pen. But he did not follow the advice, the jobless man turned over the money to police. The sender has until June 27 to declare the money or the unemployed man will get it. Japan has seen a thread of cases in which huge sums of cash have been left anonymously in the mailboxes or public restrooms. The largest money, in the record, was in the city of Kyoto last year. Beyond belief a 67-year-old woman who discovered an envelope containing 10 million yen of loaded bills in her mailbox.

something new

We went to the shooting range yesterday. It was my first time to go to a shooting range here in San Diego, Ca. I remember the first time I went to a shooting range in Philippines. I was really not intimidated by the sound of the gun because it was an open field and plus I was younger back then. I was easy go lucky. But yesterday, I was really intimidated and scared of the sound of guns. My husband brought his 9mm gun and he taught how to use it. It is nice to know how to use guns and how to shoot a target. It is for self-defense. Being so nervous, I can't concentrate. But when I started praying to God. I calmed down and was able to shoot the target. I was still kinda tensed. The air was cold and my hands were shaking. I was happy when it was over. However, we will go to the shooting range again, in one of these days and practice some more just for a hobby.

Oh Boy, I am just so tired today. I feel like not working today. But I have to go. I have to take a nap first. Before I am going to make another post. My eyes are just so tired. nothing much

I had vegetables soup on my lunch today. I would like to go out and get some food at the Filipino restaurant but I ended up heating up a canned soup. I just feel really tired today. I slept at 1am last night because I watched tv with my husband. My husband fell asleep on the couch. I didn’t really finish the movie. But instead, I chatted with my friend Cheryl since she was online when I checked my messages in yahoo messenger. Now, I am very tired. I am going to take a nap after I finished writing two posts in this blog. My head is really heavy. I got to finish this so I can take a rest and sleep.

Philippine Trip 2008

I was very happy to visit my family in the Philippines. At first, everything was strange and new to me. I don't mean it in a bad way. But it is just that I was away from the Cebu for almost two years. The traffic was bad and the drivers didn't follow the traffic rules. Nevertheless, I was so excited and happy to see my family. I spent most of my time with them and got closer to them once again. Now, I miss them a lot. I also met my wonderful friends in Cebu. I really enjoyed the food there and once in a while I missed the american food but not so bad. I had mostly vegetables and fish. Oh, Gosh, I just loved my mama's fried pork chop. It was really delicious. I also had lechon baboy too, sad to say, my stomach was not too happy. I forgot that I am a vegetarian. It was vacation time I made an exemption. haha Well, I am posting here some of the pictures I took in my vacation in the Philippines.

Hong Kong

I stayed in Hong Kong for a night with my husband. I was really amazed with the Hong Kong Airport. It was really huge. I have been to a few airports in my life. But I would say that HK Airport is the biggest airport I have ever seen. They have up to 80 gates. It was pretty organized there. Well, I guess all airports are pretty organized (duh!). So, we went to Kowloon through express train and a taxicab. We wanted to see the big electronic goods place there. It was like almost an hour away from the airport. Actually, we stayed in YWCA. It was a nice hotel. We were on the 18th floor. I really had a great fun and time. We went to the market place there. It reminded me of the Tabo sa Banay in Cebu City. They have a bunch of clothes, shoes, toys etc. just laying on the stalls. We bought a few stuff there. But I thought I could also find those things in Cebu for cheap also because almost everything in P.I is made in China. . haha. The food was so great. I really liked the curry mixed vegetables. The apartments and buildings are tall (as shown in the picture. We wanted to go to Mongkok but we didn't go since I was jet-lagged. It was something new to me. I would like to visit Hong Kong again someday. I would like to do it when I am going to visit my family in P.I again. It was such a very good experience.

I am back

I am back from my trip to Cebu. It was a very nice vacation. I was able to see and spend time with family a lot. And I got really closer to them. I miss them very much. I will see them again when time and money permit. And of course, by God's grace. I was really surprised when I checked out my blog site. I noticed my page rank is 0. It used to be page rank 2. I don't understand. Well, I was gone for a couple of weeks and not able to visit nor post anything on my blog. But I don't see it as a reason. Geez, I am back to square one. I really wanted to monetize my blog. Hopefully, I can still get ads and reviews. :-(
