back from vacation

Hi everyone! I am back from vacation. We went to Oregon to visit my husband's family and friends. It was very nice there. The climate was cooler than I thought. I guess, I underestimated the weather forecast. We had a lot of fun. I took some pictures in which I'll post them later. We drove from San Diego to Oregon. It was great road trip. It was raining on the way there. I got scared while driving through the mountain range. We actually went to Boring, Oregon. It was not boring at all! Anyhoo, I really liked it there. The place is really green. We'd like to get a place there someday. I think I'd prefer to live in a cool place or I don't know. I've never tried it before. Ok, enough of blah, blah. More posts later... gotta go!

excited about our trip

I am excited about our trip to Oregon next week. We will be taking the road and it takes 18 hours to get there. It will be my longest trip ever! We are going to stay there for a week. We are going to visit my husband's family. We did not see his family for two years now, except his mom. My mom in-law visits us here every year. However, I am very excited to see the trees and beautiful mountains of Oregon. Oregon is one of the nicest place in the U.S. Oh, before I forget I have to make a list of things to bring and to do there.

Morey's Piers

Are you planning on taking a vacation soon? I always love vacation because it is the time of the year in which I can relax and enjoy life more. Work can be very stressful and sometimes we need to get away from it. I would love to go to Europe someday. Who wants to go there too? I would like to take Short Breaks Isle of Wight. Philippine Trip 2008

I was very happy to visit my family in the Philippines. At first, everything was strange and new to me. I don't mean it in a bad way. But it is just that I was away from the Cebu for almost two years. The traffic was bad and the drivers didn't follow the traffic rules. Nevertheless, I was so excited and happy to see my family. I spent most of my time with them and got closer to them once again. Now, I miss them a lot. I also met my wonderful friends in Cebu. I really enjoyed the food there and once in a while I missed the american food but not so bad. I had mostly vegetables and fish. Oh, Gosh, I just loved my mama's fried pork chop. It was really delicious. I also had lechon baboy too, sad to say, my stomach was not too happy. I forgot that I am a vegetarian. It was vacation time I made an exemption. haha Well, I am posting here some of the pictures I took in my vacation in the Philippines.

Hong Kong

I stayed in Hong Kong for a night with my husband. I was really amazed with the Hong Kong Airport. It was really huge. I have been to a few airports in my life. But I would say that HK Airport is the biggest airport I have ever seen. They have up to 80 gates. It was pretty organized there. Well, I guess all airports are pretty organized (duh!). So, we went to Kowloon through express train and a taxicab. We wanted to see the big electronic goods place there. It was like almost an hour away from the airport. Actually, we stayed in YWCA. It was a nice hotel. We were on the 18th floor. I really had a great fun and time. We went to the market place there. It reminded me of the Tabo sa Banay in Cebu City. They have a bunch of clothes, shoes, toys etc. just laying on the stalls. We bought a few stuff there. But I thought I could also find those things in Cebu for cheap also because almost everything in P.I is made in China. . haha. The food was so great. I really liked the curry mixed vegetables. The apartments and buildings are tall (as shown in the picture. We wanted to go to Mongkok but we didn't go since I was jet-lagged. It was something new to me. I would like to visit Hong Kong again someday. I would like to do it when I am going to visit my family in P.I again. It was such a very good experience.

San Diego

San Diego, California is one of the best vacation destinations or places in the world. It is known for its beautiful beaches and temperate climate. I live in San Diego and I love being part of this community. There are many things you can do here in San Diego. There are many attractions and theme parks such as SeaWorld, The San Diego Zoo, The Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park, Lego Land and many others. And there are many activities you can do here when you stay or live in San Diego beach house. You will experience the calmness of the wind and see the view of the sun. You can do surfing, water skiing, kayak or tanning. You will enjoy in Mission Beach, Ocean beach and Pacific Beach and savor the food in different restaurants from fast food to fancy dining. If you are into nightlife, you will never feel bored because there are many different bars.

You might want to invest on San Diego real estate that is located right on the beach, bay front or beachfront. I would say putting your money in this kind of property is one of the best choices you will ever make because of its unique site and its value. Likewise, it is more relaxing when you live on the beachfront.

You can spend and stay several days at San Diego weekly rentals. They are superb in accommodations and more enjoyable than staying in a hotel rooms or resorts. It features more rooms, space, kitchen, patio and other amenities. That means it is more convenient, you can bring your whole family, friends, or business groups. Last year, I went to Pacific Beach for some purposes. I went to one of the vacation rentals there. It was not for vacation but I was really amazed because it was one of the best vacation rentals I have ever seen. The place was huge and spacious. The kitchen was big and equipped with facilities. That means it is more reasonable to stay in a vacation rental considering you can bring food and cook, you will have further privacy and more facilities. You will have a unique experience in San Diego.
